Our Approach

A Wider Search. The Same Etiquette.

MAWADDAH exists because sincere seekers shouldn't be limited to a small circle, and families shouldn't have to choose between privacy and possibility. Here is the approach that holds those two together.

A Wider, Region-Aware Search

Profiles are quietly considered across cities and countries — far beyond who happens to know whom — without ever being publicly browsable.

A Trusted Human at Every Step

Vetted moderators — ʿulamāʾ, ʿālimāt, mature community members — review every profile and every introduction before anyone sees it.

AI Assists, Never Decides

Compatibility intelligence filters by dealbreakers first, then suggests possibilities to a moderator. Suggestions are never auto-sent to candidates.

Walī-Aware by Design

Walī details are captured at signup and used for family-to-family contact after both sides accept. Not a checkbox — a foundation.

Private by Default

No catalogue, no swiping, no in-app messaging between candidates. Sensitive fields stay gated until both sides have accepted an introduction.

Respectful Notifications

Both sides are notified by email when a response is recorded — accepted or declined — with adab and without exposing scores or counters.

From Idea to Introduction.

The approach above is a posture, not a workflow. If you want to see how it plays out in practice — from signup to walī contact — the eleven-step walk-through covers every stage.
